Dear Go Folkestone Member
Welcome new members!
You will be delighted to hear that our Go Folkestone Electrical Waste Recycling Project has been recognised and presented with a very special Award by our Town Mayor.
Comments in the Minutes. Our volunteers for this project have a flexible rota which is run by one of our members. We meet just opposite Boots in the High Street between 10am and 2pm every Saturday, and we are appealing to you to put yourself or someone you know forward to support us. Just 30 minutes makes a huge difference. Details of how to put your name on the rota are in the Minutes.
Also attached you will find your electronic copy of our very special Go Folkestone Spring 2025 magazine. We would be delighted if you would share this with your family, friends and neighbours, both near and far, if they are interested in Folkestone. Of course, old copies can be found on our Go Folkestone website so if there are articles that you would like to re-read or share with others this is the best place to find them and of course, also share what we as a community group are involved with.
We have a litter pick this Friday and our Litter Pick Leader would really appreciate anyone turning up even if it is for just 30 minutes. All equipment, pickers, bags, gloves and more are available at The Leas Arch at 2.00pm, We would really appreciate support from our members.
Finally, and many apologies as we’re aware that a number of you have struggled to complete the Member Survey. People use so many different devices these days that it’s almost impossible to please everyone, but attached is a different format of the Member Survey, so if you haven’t already managed to complete one and return to info@gofolkestone.org.uk or drop through the Membership Secretary’s letterbox 21 Clifton Crescent, perhaps this version might not drive you bonkers – again apologies. 😊
Thank you and enjoy this magazine. We are very pleased with this one.
Kind regards
Nicola Tolson
