The outstanding pianist – Joseph Havlat – will lead an ensemble of the very best current Royal Academy of Music students in performing 8 world premieres written and performed in tribute to our director, John Woolrich, alongside two premieres written by John himself.

This concert is the final event in the series of events celebrating John Woolrich’s 70th birthday this year, and is an opportunity for friends and colleagues to acknowledge his contribution to British music-making.

The composers involved, our friends at the Royal Academy, and Folkestone New Music, have been working on this project for over a year now.
