A Very Special Spring Event

On Sunday March the 9th at 11:30 am downstairs in kollectiv the wondrous Sarah Gabriel (soprano),

Steve Dummer (clarinet) and Stephen Da Pledge (piano) are bringing to Folkestone their highly acclaimed

concert of Weimer songs which has been such a success at Crazy Coqs, Soho and The Pheasantry, Kings Road.

Their programme – that includes Friedrich Hollaender, Kurt Weill, Hanns Eisler and Bertolt Brecht songs – was

first devised when we were all at the Dartington International Summer School.

This is a particularly special event for me as these old friends have chosen to come down on this weekend because it is my birthday.

(Don’t you dare ask which one!).
