A contemporary approach to modern landscape using experimental techniques and materials along with traditional methods.

There would be an emphasis on expression, emotional involvement and abstraction. Influences and inspiration would be sought from both traditional and contemporary artists. The course will be covering using watercolour, acrylic and graphic mediums.

By the end of this course you should be able to:

• Select and use a range of materials and methods
• Recognise a variety of styles from traditional and contemporary artists.
• Make experimental studies from a variety of source materials
• Create a range of drawings, paintings based on group and individual study of Landscapes

There is no set ‘homework’, but you are welcome to practise and do further work at home.

There is no qualification for this course.

There is limited parking on site, but there is a public car park and on-street parking nearby.
