Go Folkestone continues to work on a number of projects.

We are seeking support from the Town Council and others for current creative projects, but will always listen to other ideas, focusing on the achievable:

  • The creation of an artwork or chart at Clifton Crescent Viewing Balcony to promote a Channel viewpoint.
  • More heritage boards backed up by members’ memories and an internet local history resource.
  • Samuel Plimsoll mural by local artist Shane Record for the Folkestone Fishing Museum.
  • ‘Green Gang’ environmental activities such as tree planting and litter picking.
