“Lord, what fools these mortals be!”

Go Folkestone’s Community Arts Committee is celebrating receiving grant funding
from KCC and the Awards for All programme to organise a spectacular “Midsummer
Madness” festival in June.
The event will take place on the Lower Leas Coastal Park, at the amphitheatre
and surrounding areas on Saturday 23rd June. Timings and the programme are to be
confirmed, but it is expected that the event will run from mid afternoon, ending
with a spectacular firework display, courtesy of the Creative Foundation.
Attractions will include music, arts and crafts and storytelling – all with a
magical, mystical theme to celebrate Midsummer. This family event is FREE.
