A late message of Christmas Cheer!
Go Folkestone member,
Allison Esson, was delighted to win a prize in a recent art competition
organised by the White Cliffs Creatives' Guild in Dover. The competition was
arranged to raise awareness and funds for Pegasus, a local charity which offers
respite care in the school holidays for disabled children and their carers.
Allison, who is also a member of GF’s Community Arts Committee, submitted a
painting of her two daughters making the most of the snow which fell just after
Christmas a couple of years ago on the Leas. It was voted as the winner in the
Adult category and Allison received prizes of art materials donated by Cross’s
art shop in Dover and Chromacolour.
