Bride Hall and Warner Estate £30m Bouverie Place Welcome
New Tenants
Bouverie Place Shopping Centre, the £30m Bride Hall and Warner Estate joint
venture development in the heart of Folkestone town centre, is progressing
smoothly with building works set to complete this summer. In anticipation of
that, Bride Hall and Warner Estate are delighted to announce further new stores.
Vodafone is joining the line up of shops due to open, while Costa has now opened
a cafe adjacent to the entrance of Bouverie Place.These stores complement the
ground floor line up of national retailers at Bouverie Place, which will include
BHS, Next, George, Peacocks, HMV and New Look.The 200,000sq ft (18,580 sq m)
scheme will double the prime retail pitch in central Folkestone, and create 600
car parking spaces over three floors, as well as a 72,000 sq ft (6,689 sq m)
ASDA superstore at first floor level.
Vodafone is taking a 1,000 sq ft (93 sq m) unit on a 15-year lease, while Costa
has opened a 5,000 sq ft (465 sq m) unitan assignment expiring in 2011 .

extremely pleased with the opening of Costa, which will boost the retail
environment in central Folkestone, allowing shoppers to stop and have a quick
bite to eat or drink.Vodafone adds to the shopping provision already in place,
enhancing the services and facilities available in the Town Centre.We hope to
announce further additions to this offer in the near future”

HBG is main contractor on the development. Green & Partners are the sole agents
for Bouverie Place with Liggins Thomas as the agent for Vodafone. Architects on
the scheme are GMW Architects.
