It’s August and the deadline for photographs for the Go Folkestone
Aspects of Folkestone 2018 Calendar is September 11th.
We want it to be even better than last year’s so please sent us those great shots from your files.
We are looking for more striking photographs of Folkestone and it’s countryside to feature in our new calendar for next year.

Following on from the success of our 2017 calendar we are once again looking for more photographs by local photographers. The photographs should show the town at its most appealing, interesting or dramatic to improve its image and encourage visitors. The brief is for scenic or landscape images, with the core area being Folkestone and Cheriton, the Folkestone Town Council boundaries, but this year we are accepting shots of areas that are easily accessed and enjoyed such as Sandgate, Alkham Valley, Elham Valley, The Warren and ‘winter, spring, summer or fall’. Profits will be donated to local causes so there will no funds to pay reproduction fees but all published photographers will be credited and given free copies.
Your files should be high or large size jpegs and only horizontal or landscape format will be accepted. The dead line is September 11th but feel free to send your images at any time. It helps us to measure your responses and begin editing before the final date.
It will be available later in the year making ideal Christmas presents for friends and family who live away or abroad.
