QUESTION:
My uncle was hospitalized in Royal Victoria Hospital Folkstone in 1917, while in
the military(5th Lancers) Can you tell me the location of this hospital?
Do you have any information or photos from that era. Are there any reports that
can be shared?
ANSWER:
There is a book about the Royal Victoria hospital by: Martin Easdown, it is
called A Grand Old Lady, and a copy can be consulted in the Peter Davies
heritage room at Folkestone Library Grace Hill Folkestone Kent. Also there may
be photographs in the collection there too.
As for records I would suggest contacting the local National Health Trust.
